Hawaii’s Big Island
Just like its nickname implies, the “Big Island” is larger
than all of the other Hawaiian Islands combined. It is the tallest mountain on
earth at 33,000 feet, when measured from the seafloor. It is famous for
orchids, coffee, and macadamia nuts.
It is famous for some of the most celebrated weather on
earth. Average temperatures range between 75 degrees and 85 degrees F., all
year round. With magnificent weather and 11 of the 13 of the world’s climatic
zones-- and microclimates within those zones-- it is not difficult to find the
ideal spot to live.
The Big Island has everything to offer, from the most
upscale resorts and homes, set like gemstones in spectacular settings, to
quaint and charming towns with great shopping and restaurants. Truly, it has
something for everyone.
